what is truth?

what is truth? that is the purpose of this blog. now this one is long however, all the other blogs will be short. i  was excited about writing thats all. it is still under construction.   the purpose of this entire blog is to speak truth.  truths that have never failed and proven themselves through time.  these truths are CHRIST centered in there nature becuase JESUS HIMSELF has become our wisdom.  now to start the first blog.....

 it only seemed fitting that i would start with the ultimate truth.  which is CHRIST is KING.  when we look at ephesians 6:13 we are called to put on the whole armor of GOD so we can withstand in the evil day. the evil day talks about a day where the devil comes to bring a day full of labor, annoyances, and hardships.  it is an evil day that tries to get you to labor under your own strength which presses you and strains on you; in other words brings stress. he also brings t days where everything just really get under skin.  its those dumb annoyances of everyday life. its not just that though; he also comes with those hardships of life that kind of make you stumble a bit.  when paul speaks of the armor of GOD he first mentions the belt of truth.  this belt is the center of the armor.  it is what holds us together.  it is centered about for the body and represents how it ought to be the center of our lives.  so what is truth?  pilate asked the same question.  john 18:33-38 we see a dialogue between him and JESUS.  he asked are you a king, JESUS says do you ask for yourself or because people told you this.   he gets fussy and says who do you think i am what of your people? JESUS began to talk to him about HIS KINGDOM.  pilate then asks again are you a king then?  JESUS answered, “you say rightly that I am a KING. for this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears MY voice.” then pilate says what is truth?  JESUS came to bear witness that before becoming human HE was KING, not to become KING. truth is this that CHRIST is KING.  the center of our life now revolves around this truth that CHRIST is KING and the RULER of my life. we conduct our lives to truth.   that I have been bought with a price and i am HIS. so we don’t do whatever we want, but we do what pleases our KING.  JESUS came and brought grace and truth.  that is what john 1: 17.  this truth is what sets us free and causes us to live free from fear of the evil day.  no longer is the stress of life, the labor of everyday, the annoyances that ruin our day, or those hardships of life what defines our lives. 

it is this truth that CHRIST is KING.  when we have a bad day we can shout CHRIST is KING and not this situation.  when people are cussing us out or talking about us we do not have to be subject to them or our feelings we can stand and confess CHRIST is KING.  paul told timothy the very same thing. 1 timothy "¹² fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. ¹³ i urge you in the sight of GOD who gives life to all things, and before CHRIST JESUS who witnessed the good confession before pontius pilate" he say fight the good fight of faith. confess the good confesion just as JESUS did before pilate. ya things didn’t turn out how you planned or what you are working on isn’t working out, but JESUS is KING.  We will not give up.  it is an anchor of life for us. it will keep our hearts from the waves tossing us around.  so today i urge you. make that truth the center of your life.  when the evil days come full of labor, annoyances, and hardships come stand and continue to stand and confess JESUS IS KING!!!
